Kelly Shackleton
It all started with Kelly. Kelly started the business over a decade ago and within that time it has diversified and become what it is today – a luxury interior design studio. Kelly has a passion for timeless and luxury interior spaces. Her experience in the industry has given her the tools to succeed and become a talented interior designer, leader and business owner. Once the team grew, this allowed Kelly to redirect her energy from the design process to the day to day running of the business. Kelly’s now focuses solely on the running and organisation of the business, she has taken full control over the financial elements, market analysis, and strategic planning. Kelly allocates a lot of her time to identifying areas for improvement within the business and focuses hugely on the marketing including the website, social media and branding. Her aim is to increase brand visibility on social media, all while making calculated decisions about how to allocate resources and manage her team. Her organisational skills are second to none and she keeps the team in check.

Olivia Carter
After having received an undergraduate degree from Newcastle University Olivia began studying online at KLC school of interior design alongside gaining hands on experience with a local interior designer before joining us in 2023. She knew that she wanted to study the theory behind the design process alongside immersing herself in real-life hands-on experience. Olivia has such a methodical approach to her work with a keen eye for detail. She thoroughly enjoys selecting fabrics for projects and designing joinery as these are bespoke elements of design schemes that influence not only the overall aesthetic and ambience of a room but also the functionality of spaces. She is always excited by a characterful property such as a Victorian/ Georgian house or a barn conversion and she has a particular interest in layout design.
